How to Get NES ROMs on your Jailbroken iPhone from the Cydia Store

NES ROMs & the iPhone
One reason that people choose to jailbreak their iPhone or iPod Touch is the ability to download Nintendo emulators from the Cydia store. These emulators allow you to play vintage NES games directly from their phone or media player.
The NES emulator is available for a small fee from the Cydia store. ROMs are available for download off the internet.

How Do I Get ROMs?
Well, the technical way is to use the games you already own.
I prefer to let someone else do my work for me! There are many websites available on the Internet that let you download NES ROMs free of charge. Just remember, you can only download games you physically own. Doing otherwise is pirating, illegal and immoral.
How do you find ROM repositories? Do a quick Google search. Some common ones include DopeROMs, CoolROM and ROMHustler
So, I’ve downloaded the emulator and ROMs. Now what?
Step 1:
First you want to download the FTP client WinSCP, iphonebrowser or i-Funbox. This free software allows you to view and edit the file system for your iPhone.
Step 2:
Once you are connected, you want to navigate the software using the following folder path:
VAR > MOBILE > MEDIA
Step 3:
Create a new folder in the “Media” folder and name it “ROMs.” (no period)
Step 4:
Inside the “ROMs” folder, create a folder name “NES.” Copy and paste the ROM file from your personal computer to the “NES” folder.
Step 5:
Open the emulator on your iPhone. The ROMs now appear on your device.
